Inverted Aerial specializes in aerialists. Using over a decade of experience we custom tailor one of a kind aerial experiences. Every detail is carefully planned from audience and performer safety to costume. Our goal is to make the audience feel something that they will be sure to remember for a lifetime.
Services
We provide aerialists for any type of event, production or show. We are also happy to be subcontracted by full production entertainment companies. For a quick and easy quote ask about our freestanding structures. If your venue has rigging capacity we can bring in an appropriate rigging team to install your desired aerial performance. For larger and unique freestanding structures, that can hold multiple performers at one time, we act as your liaison with fully insured staging companies to bring in aerial appropriate trussing. We also take on site specific installations and can customize branding into our costuming or design a one of a kind apparatus incorporating your company's logo. We are based out of NYC but can travel worldwide.
Our Freestanding Structures
We own several lollipops, a-frames, and tripods. All of our rigs are engineer stamped, professional grade and height adjustable. They can fit almost any space and leave no trace behind. This allows us to give you a fast and easy quote. Email us for our tech sheet listing the footprints of our structures. Our pricing includes a team to transport, set up, and disassemble the structures; plus one aerialist.
Rigging Services
If your venue has rigging capacity please provide us with a well-lit and close up photo of the aerial point. We also ask for the statics including weight load limit and the last time it was inspected. After obtaining this information we can bring in the appropriate rigging team to make your desired aerial performance come to life. We work with a variety of professional riggers. If you desire an act that requires the aerialist to be lifted we own a 3:1 pulley system which will allow a professional rigger to lift a solo or duo with ease.
Site Specific
For site specific installations please contact us with your vision. We will then arrange a phone call so we can fully understand and execute what you are envisioning. If it is something that we can take on you will be asked to purchase a proposal and we will prepare a price quote and detailed plan of action for you to approve. For site specific installations special equipment and costuming may need to be custom ordered. Please allow enough time before your event. We recommend reaching out at least two months ahead of your event date.
Artist performs static poses, spins, and drops on two pieces of fabric suspended from a single point.
The lyra or aerial hoop is a round metal ring which the artist performs static poses, spins, and drops on.

Aerial Rope or Corde Lisse is a rope suspended from the ceiling where the artist performs dynamic tricks and drops.
Same as a regular lyra or hoop but it has LED lights on it!
We can incorporate your logo into a one of a kind aerial apparatus. Pictured are custom made spreader bars for Ultra Music Festival.
The client can commission Inverted Aerial for group choreography involving several artists on their own individual apparatus of choice or multiple aerialists on one apparatus.
Aerialists will pour drinks for you suspended from above on an aerial apparatus. If rigging is not available at your venue our lollipop lyra or freestanding rig can be used for this service.
Our most popular rig! The lollipop lyra is great for places that don't have a preexisting rigging point. It can be adjusted to two heights and can fit into shorter spaces.
If you don't have pre-existing rigging we can bring the rigging to you! We own both A-frames and tripods that are professional grade and engineer stamped. All of of rigs are height adjustable, can be set up anywhere there is a flat surface, and leave no trace behind.
